Two days after the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the TTAADC has postponed the competitive examinations scheduled to be held on June 9 for the recruitment of 110 vacant posts of Sub-Zonal Development Officers and Deputy Principal Officers and amid the arrest of the two accused person in connection to the answer key leakage row, the TIPRA Students’ Federation (TSF), the student wing of the TIPRA Motha party, on Monday submitted a memorandum in the office of Tripura’s Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu and sought his intervention to initiate CBI probe into the incident.
The TSF demanded exemplary punishment for those involved in the leaking of the answer key. “We call for a thorough investigation and strict action against the culprits to maintain the integrity of the recruitment process,” the memorandum stated.
Soon after the FIR lodged with the West Agartala Police Station, police on Sunday last detained one accused identified as Chayan Saha and later on Monday the police of Bishalgarh police station detained another accused identified as Amit Debbarma and handed over with the police of West Agartala Police Station.
