The Chief Justice of Tripura High Court Aparesh Kumar Singh on Friday launched the project MUKTI initiated by Tripura State Legal Services Authority to eradicate the menace of drug abuse in the state.
The Chief Justice and also the Patron-in-Chief of Tripura State Legal Service Authority Aparesh Kumar Singh Mukti unveiled the cover of the booklet of project MUKTI and sought cooperation from all walks of life in ending the menace of drug abuse in the state.
He said that the paralegal volunteers should be made more active through the network of Tripura State Legal Service Authorities. The police administration, gram panchayats, village communities, social organizations should also be equally active in working towards eradicating the drug menace, he said.
High Court Justice and Tripura State Legal Services Authority Executive Chairman T Amarnath Gaur, Justice and High Court Legal Services Committee Chairman Arindam Lodh, TSLSA Member Secretary Datamohan Jamatia and others were present on the occasion.
