Union Minister Anurag Thakur calls for larger participation of youths in nation building

AGARTALA:

The Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Youth Affairs and Sports, Anurag Singh Thakur called upon the youth to contribute to making the country self-reliant and contribute to nation-building.

The Union Minister was addressing an event of "YUVA SAMVAD-India @2047" here at Agartala Rabindra Bhawan on Friday.

He called upon the youths to contribute in making the country a Vishwa Guru and said, “The youths should convert the challenges into opportunities.”

“The future of the country is dependent on the constructive, collective and collaborative capacities of the youth to shape the new world order,” he said.

Remembering Swami Vivekananda and his ideologies, the union minister also urged the youth to project the unsung heroes of the Freedom Movement on social media platforms.

Union MoS Pratima Bhoumik, State Youth Affairs and Sports minister Sushanta Chowdhury and Director of YAS Subikash Debbarma among others were present in the programme.
