The Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment on Thursday chaired an administrative level meeting at Jolaibari Panchayat Samiti Hall in South Tripura district and asked the government officials to build a cordial relation with the public representatives to ensure proper implementation of the welfare schemes for the beneficiaries.
Bhoumik underlined the purpose of the Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and said that this is to generate awareness regarding the Central government’s welfare schemes and policies and achieve 100% saturation of flagship government schemes.
She said, “The administration and public representatives should work together to ensure that the benefits of the schemes undertaken for public welfare are available to every person in the state.”
Bhoumik also mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken initiatives to build a developed India. The ongoing Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra aims to bring the benefits of 17 central flagship projects to the people.
State Cooperative Minister Shuklacharan Noatia, MLA Pramod Reang, MLA Mylayu Mog, South Tripura Zilla Parishad Chairperson Kakali Das Dutta, MDC Kangjung Mog, MDC Sanjeev Riat, and others were present in the meeting.
