In an incident of stone pelting by smugglers/miscreants in the night intervening 3rd and 4th February one Border Security Force (BSF) jawan namely CT Md Rahul Amin deployed at border of BOP Kullubari under Sepahijala District sustained grievous injury on his face and body.
As per BSF sources, the place of incident falls under Sonamura subdivision of Sepahijala district.
The injured BSF jawan has been timely evacuated and presently admitted at GBP hospital and undergoing medical treatment.
In this regard FIR is being lodged against the suspected smugglers/miscreants by BSF.
