The state government is taking initiatives to improve the tourism in Narikel Kunja by providing the necessary transport facilities, hospitality facilities, accommodation facilities for tourists, said Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury.
He said that the government has taken initiatives to attract local and foreign tourists to the potential tourist spot of the state, Narikel Kunja, and to make this tourist spot more attractive to the tourists.
“The tourism department has taken up many plans to refurbish it. To make the Narikel Kunja tourist spot more attractive to tourists we are taking various initiatives. We are taking the initiative to take the aim of providing more low cost services locally to the tourists coming to Narikel Kunja. We want to arrange more event-based tourism to attract tourists while maintaining the nature here. We now need proper branding for Narikel Kunja and our tourism department is taking all necessary initiatives for that. The Department is taking initiatives to improve the tourism in Narikel Kunja by providing the necessary transport facilities, hospitality facilities, accommodation facilities for tourists”, said Sushanta.
The Tourism Minister was present today along with Tourism Minister Uttam Kumar Chakma, Tourism Department Director Tapan Kumar Das and other officials of the department visited Narikel Kunja.
