Residents of Narendranagar have been grappling with a severe drinking water crisis for the past four days, prompting Pramila Bahini to stage a road blockade on the Damchara-Panisagar road today.
Frustrated by the persistent issue and the lack of a solution despite repeated notifications to high-ranking officials, locals demanded swift action to resolve the problem.
In response to the road blockade, senior officers quickly arrived at the scene and engaged in discussions with the protestors. They offered assurances that the drinking water problem would be promptly addressed. Satisfied with the commitment made by the officials, the demonstrators decided to lift the road blockade.
The water scarcity issue in Narendranagar has been a cause for concern and the protest served as a visible expression of the community's frustration. The quick response and promises from senior officers have provided a glimmer of hope for a resolution to the long-standing problem.
