West RO visits injured poll worker, assures Govt support

Dr. Vishal Kumar, the Returning Officer overseeing the West Tripura Parliamentary Constituency, demonstrated empathy by personally visiting a dedicated poll worker currently recuperating at GB Hospital.

The poll worker, Subhash Das, encountered an unfortunate incident while fulfilling his duties during the polling day for the West Tripura Lok Sabha constituency.

Subhash Das, a highly respected teacher at West Jarulbachai Hariapara JB School, suffered a head injury after slipping en route to his assigned polling station. Prompt medical attention was necessary, leading to his admission to GB Hospital. Fortunately, Subhash Das's condition has shown significant improvement under professional care.

During his visit, Dr. Vishal Kumar expressed heartfelt support to the injured teacher and his family, assuring them of the government's unwavering assistance throughout the recovery process. Engaging with both Subhash Das and his relatives, Dr. Kumar conveyed optimism about the progress, noting the improvement in Subhash Das's physical condition, including his ability to comfortably engage in conversation and consume food.
