Yogi Adityanath Criticizes Congress for India's Partition says Pakistan is a cancer

AGARTALA:

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath criticized the Congress party on Monday for its role in the partition of India, accusing them of appeasing the Muslim League during the independence movement.

His remarks came during the inauguration of the Siddheswari Mandir and the foundation-laying ceremony for the Ved Vidyalaya in Barkathal, Mohanpur Sub-Division, West Tripura District.

Adityanath emphasized the achievements of the double-engine government, asserting that it is dedicated to the comprehensive development of both Tripura and the nation.

He contrasted the current peaceful situation in Tripura with its past, suggesting that conditions were not as secure a decade ago. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for steering the country towards progress and unity under the banner of "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat."

The Chief Minister criticized the Congress for allegedly facilitating the division of the country, which he claimed led to significant violence and the undermining of India’s traditions.

He described this as a strategy driven by personal and political interests, arguing that the Congress's actions helped create Pakistan, which he referred to as a "cancer" on the Indian subcontinent.

Adityanath underscored Tripura's advancements, highlighting improvements in national highways, housing projects, and other developments that have transformed the state from a region once marked by difficulties to one experiencing substantial growth.
