Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha today informed that youths in the state are playing a key role in mitigating the crisis of blood by donating blood voluntarily.
Speaking with the media after inaugurating a voluntary blood donation camp Chief Minister said, “I have observed one thing that after my appeal; especially youths are coming forward to donate blood voluntarily across the state. Those who have not donated blood, I want to appeal to them to donate blood voluntarily as soon as possible in a move to save people”.
He said that youth should come forward with innovative ideas to make this state ‘Ek Tripura Srestha Tripura’.
“People from all over the state are coming forward to donate blood. Especially the youth is playing a big role in this blood donation”, he said.
The presence of blood donors in the camp was quite noticeable. The Chief Minister visited blood donation camps and encouraged blood donors. He urged to continue the blood donation camp as per routine. Apart from the Chief Minister, Mayor Dipak Majumder and State BJP President Rajib Bhattacharya along with other leaders were also present.
